SMS Messaging Terms & Compliance
Consent to receive SMS messages is NOT required as a condition of using our website or purchasing our services. SMS opt-in occurs only through the separate, optional checkboxes on our website forms. Declining SMS consent does not affect your ability to request estimates, book service, or use any part of our business.
- Program Description: This messaging program sends appointment confirmations, updates, and reminder messages to customers who have requested an estimate or booked junk removal service with Junk It Jim Hauling through our website at junkitjimhauling.com and have explicitly opted in to receive SMS notifications. Opt-in is collected via web forms with dedicated checkboxes for SMS consent. Customers who separately opt in to marketing messages may also receive special offers, discounts, and service updates. Messages include estimate confirmations, appointment reminders, scheduling updates, and customer support communications.
- Cancellation Instructions: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to (925) 436-1694. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

Service Terms
Service Estimates & Pricing
Any estimates provided online, by phone, or via text are non-binding. Final pricing is confirmed on-site before any work begins. Payment is due in full upon completion of the service.
Service Area
We proudly serve Contra Costa County and the East Bay area, including Oakley, Brentwood, Antioch, Pittsburg, Discovery Bay, Knightsen, and Bethel Island. Services outside this area may be subject to additional fees or declined at our discretion.
Items We Cannot Accept
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot accept hazardous materials, including but not limited to:
- Paint, chemicals, and solvents
- Motor oil, fuel, and automotive fluids
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Biohazards or medical waste
- Explosives or highly flammable items
Liability Limits
While we take great care in removing items from your property, Junk It Jim Hauling is not liable for pre-existing damage or minor incidental damage that may occur during the normal course of junk removal.
