Junk It Jim Hauling removes them the right way: we haul refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, and water heaters from anywhere on your property and route them to recyclers who recover the metal and handle refrigerants properly. Same-day pickup is usually available across our East Bay service area. *Appliances should be disconnected from gas/water lines before pickup; we're happy to advise by phone.

Straightforward Appliance Removal Pricing

Appliance disposal fees are set by the transfer stations, and we pass them through at cost — we don't mark them up: refrigerators, air conditioning units, washers, and stoves are $80; all other appliances (dryers, dishwashers, water heaters) are $60. That's on top of standard trailer volume pricing when it's part of a bigger load — or often the whole price for a single-appliance pickup.

Why Appliance Disposal Costs What It Costs

Fridges and AC units contain refrigerants that must be recovered by certified facilities — that's most of the fee, and it's the law. We haul your old appliances to the right facility, the metals get recycled, and the refrigerants get handled properly. When customers ask why a washer is $80 but a dryer is $60 — we wondered too.
